ABOUT

Don is a Court Compliance and Collections expert with over 20 years of government experience, of which, the last 15 years specifically focusing on strategic, effective, and efficient court operations and collections.  Don has a strong background involving court compliance and collections, helping courts establish and set up collection programs, and in promoting exceptional customer service.  He also has years of experience in parking enforcement, operations, and strategic planning.  Don can help your court or organization with process mapping, workflows, and helping to identify operational efficiencies and process improvements.  Don has worked for the State of Florida, City of Fort Worth Municipal Court, State of Texas - Office of Court Administration, and most recently as a Court Operations Manager with the City of Austin Municipal Court.  Besides years of experience in the public sector, Don also has private sector collections and collections management experience with unique understanding on what role the private sector plays in collections.

Don is a certified court clerk in Texas, a national certified collections specialist, recognized trainer and public speaker on collections and court operations.  He can bring motivation and time tested techniques to help your court, government department, or business, in the areas of compliance, collections, general operations, technology, and Amnesty and Warrant Roundup collection campaigns for your organization.

As a national speaker he has facilitated training and seminars in Florida, Texas, Michigan and California.  Don has facilitated numerous training topics and spoke for the following organizations: The Texas Municipal Courts Education Center; Texas Justice Courts Training Center; the Texas Court Clerks Association; Texas Municipal Courts Association; the National Court Collections Symposium; Governmental Financial Officers Association of Texas; the Governmental Collectors Association of Texas, and the Government Revenue Collections Association.                 

He can provide training and speak for any sized group covering numerous subjects and topics related to court, public and private collections, motivation and morale, strategic planning, and general business and government operations that are results driven.  Don also can provide one-on-one training specifically tailored for your organization.  He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with majors in both Finance and Economics.
